Joey is quite the little special boy who is looking for his new Furever Family to spend the rest of his life with.  We believe he is a Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle mix) who is about 3 years old and weighs approximately 15 lbs.  When DFW Pup Patrol rescued him he was on the streets for who knows how long....his coat was an absolute mess, so he received a necessary shave, but it's already growing out beautifully.  He was a light heartworm positive, but he has finished his treatment and is now on monthly heartworm prevention!  Joey was clueless about anything other than street life.  He acted like he didn't know what it was like to have his own loving family or a home to be safe and comfortable in.  As a result we decided to get him a little help and he has graduated an intensive obedience training and now knows how to be a happy dog.  Joey listens very well.  He sits, lays down, and stays when commanded.  He has a love for lying on the couch, and absolutely loves to be in your lap!  Joey has a lot of personality, is an absolute love bug, and will continue to blossom with some continued patience and guidance.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
