If you're looking for a laid back sweet little girl to be a companion, this one's for you.  We believe Juliet is a MinPin/Chi mix who is estimated to be about 4 years of age and is approximately 15 lbs.  We rescued Juliet from a local kill shelter when she was going to be euthanized because no family came for her and she tested positive for heartworm.

Monthly heartworm prevention was not apparently deemed necessary by her prior family and it is so very common, especially down here in the south.  Juliet has successfully completed her heartworm treatment now and is on monthly heartworm prevention.  Our vet says he is detecting a Grade 2 heart murmur that may or may not go away over time since her heartworm has now been treated.  Sweet Juliet also takes periodic pain medication for arthritis in her neck and back.  She is far too young to have to be challenged with these physical handicaps, so we believe with the right committed family or person that she will have many, many more years of enjoyment and will know what it feels like to have the unconditional love that she is so eager to give.

Juliet is house and crate trained.  She is happy to just be by you and receive pets and love.  She is great on a leash, but should only be given short walks at a time.
