You can't not fall in love with Jumbo Jack (JJ).  We rescued him from a local shelter when he ran out of time and was about to be euthanized because he tested positive for heartworm due to the fact his prior owners did not feel it necessary to give him an inexpensive monthly heartworm prevention.  We successfully treated him for heartworm and he has been kept on monthly heartworm prevention.  At the shelter he was given the name Mr. Magnificent for a reason!  He is special from the word "GO!".

Jumbo Jack is a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane mix who is approximately 3-1/2 to 4 years of age and about 75-80 lbs.  He is an easygoing, calm, regal looking fella who just tends to go with the flow. JJ's just happy to be safe, have food in his belly, get a daily walk, and get some lovin' from his peeps. He is not a barker, enjoys playtime, and gets along well with other dogs, but he's not sure of the cat. It seems to be more of a curiosity than anything.

JJ is not a counter surfer or a jumper. He is a gentle giant who knows sit, lay, and shake. He is potty trained and crate trained. He takes treats gently and shows no food aggression towards people. JJ might bark at other pups if they get too close to his kennel/space when he's eating or has a treat, so its best to keep him separated from other pets during these times.
