Hi – I am Sam and I am the most adorable of all the doodles! It is important that I tell you about myself and I hope that you’ll keep reading about me because I am a special little boy!  I lost my family when they could no longer care for me and left me at a north Texas Shelter. A kind lady came and picked me up and says to me every day what a good boy I am!

I do have diabetes and get a tiny little injection twice a day – they don’t hurt and I don’t mind them at all. My medicine is about $25 per month. The diabetes has given me cataracts, but I find my way around the house just fine and even use the dog door to potty outside and come right back inside. After going potty, I like to dance a little jig because it feels so good…then I run back inside.

My foster Mom says that I can't hear to good - but that doesn't bother me as I'd have selective hearing anyways .   Both my foster Mom and Dad say that I am better than my fur foster brothers, plus I like to cuddle on their lap and often I will ask to be picked up and carried around. When Mom goes to work, I talk to her to tell her that I am going to miss her, but then I just follow Dad around or will curl up on my bed and wait for Mom to get home.

Mom likes to take us on walks and I like to pee on every tree that we come across to let those big dogs know that I’ve been there too. When my people have to run on errands, I am a good boy and will behave very well... but when they come home, I do have to insist that they pick me up and love on me for a bit, then it’s ok for them to put me back down. At night, I really do like to cuddle up and sleep in my people’s bed… I promise I am quiet as a mouse and you’ll hardly know I’m there between you at all!

Now you might say that I am old… no! I’m just 12 and little dogs live longer! I refuse to give up early as I have a lot of love and companionship to give back! I hope that you will consider adopting me so I can have my forever home – love Sam.

Please consider adding Sam as your new family member, Sam has an abundance of love to give and asks little in return.

Sam is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and house trained. He is heartworm negative and on heartworm/flea and tick preventatives.

ADOPTION FEE: No adoption fee due to his special needs; a donation would gladly be accepted
