Bogart, affectionately called Bogie, was an owner surrender to a local kill shelter. He was so scared in the shelter that he was put under "rescue only" and was in real danger of being euthanized. We saved him, and found out that he is a very sweet, happy pup! He is about 3 years old and weighs about 70 lbs. We believe Bogie was kept in a backyard most of his life, but he quickly adapted to home life. He is house trained, knows how to use a doggie door too, and is crate trained. He gets along fine with other pups, is good with kids, and loves to play! Bogie has been fully obedience trained and his adopters will get a complimentary lesson with the trainer.

If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please request a Pre-Adoption Application via email at info@dfwpuppatrol.com.  General questions about a particular pup or our adoption process can also be sent to the same email address.  All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $225, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
