Hey! They call me Baxter, and it's estimated that I was born in October of 2014.  Currently I weigh about 40 lbs. I am a Basset Hound/Australian Shepherd mix.  I like playing with my furry foster siblings and snuggling by your side.  I get along great with children.  I am potty trained with a dog door and am learning to be ok in my crate.  Loud noises such as the vacuum cleaner scare me.  I'm not aggressive with cats, but am a bit too curious so I'd do better in a home without cats.  I'm learning how to walk well on a leash and enjoy taking walks.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $225, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
