Little Benny is believed to be a Schnauzer / Terrier mix pup around 12-16 months old. He is a very sweet pup even though he had a pretty rough start to his life.  (He had been more than likely drug by a vehicle and then ended up at a kill shelter.) His skin wounds have healed now, and he has never displayed any anxiety behavior resulting from the 'dragging'.  Bennie is house trained... his foster Mom will show him the door outside and let him out every couple of hours. He doesn't mind being in his crate while you are away. He does  prefer to sleep with a family member at night.  He is a playful pup and gets along well with all sizes of dogs. He doesn't mind kitties either.  Benny is alert to his environment... he will bark at the doorbell or knock on the door, or to people walking around outside the home.  Bennie will bond well with his new family and he is great with kids.  He walks well on a leash. Bennie would make a great companion dog as he is happy to just be with you reading, watching TV, or out taking a walk. He rides well in the car.  His foster Mom says, "Bennie is perfect!"
