Meet sweet little Bobby, a pup we believe is a Basenji mix, approximately 1 yr old, and about 26 lbs.  He has the cutest prance rather than a walk and pretty much hops rather than runs.  Bobby ran out of time at a shelter and was scheduled to be euthanized.  No one wanted to adopt Bobby because he was so scared in the loud shelter environment.  Once out of the shelter he is now a completely different pup as often happens.  Bobby is a lovely little dog, is very affectionate and loving, is docile, and wants to please.  He has learned how to sit already too.  Bobby loves to roll over for belly rubs and really enjoys his ears massaged.  He gets along well with pups in his foster home and is interested in the kitty, but not aggressive.  He will do best in a home without children most likely due to a negative past experience with them.  Bobby’s foster mom is currently working on a few things with him, but he is progressing very well.  He still gets a little nervous on a leash when being walked, but gets better each time and he is working on his house training, but also getting better on that and starting to let his foster mom know when he needs to go outside.  The crate is not something he is crazy about and will bark and cry, but we have every confidence he will understand with time and relax.   Bobby is a sweetheart and will make a great addition to some lucky family.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
