Hello! My name is Henry and I am very happy to meet you! I think I'm a Chihuahua mix and I’m a playful, happy little guy. I’m probably about 1-1/2 to 2yrs old and I’m about 12 lbs.

I am bouncy and full of energy in the morning and I have a cute little prance when I walk down the street. I love playing fetch and will bring my toy back over and over so that you can throw it again and again and again and I also love going for long walks in the park.

However, my energy certainly comes in bursts. Between bursts, I’m more than happy to sleep on the couch or to entertain myself by chewing on my toys. I really like hanging out on the couch with my foster mom and I love getting belly rubs.

Did I mention that I am crate-trained and housetrained and can use a doggie door?

I get along with cats and I happily play with small and medium sized dogs when I go to doggie daycare. I don’t always like big dogs, as they are just too big! I do sometimes get pretty jealous if another dog is getting too much attention and I sometimes forget my manners and growl or snarl. So, I’d prefer to be an only pup so that I can be the one in the spotlight who gets all the attention!

I can be a little unsure when I meet someone for the first time, especially men or people who talk loudly and move too fast. However, once I get to know you, we are going to be best friends! My current foster mom is actually a dog trainer, so she’s helping me work on this and I’m getting lots better at making new friends.

Please give me a chance as I'm really a sweet little guy. I would love to show you how much I can love you and I would love to have a forever home to call my own.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
