Sweet Biscuit was approximately 12-14 weeks of age on 07/27/12, weighs approximately 25 lbs, and we believe he is an American Pitbull Terrier mix with possibly Boxer. Nothing holds this little guy back even though he is deaf. He is very outgoing, curious and loves to spend time outdoors. He is very independent, loves to explore, and he really LOVES to play in his kiddy pool! Biscuit adores all the other dogs, loves kids, is very outgoing, is learning with the help of his awesome foster mom to communicate via sign language. They are learning together and their vocabulary thus far consists of; "Sit, stay, stop, no, leave it, go play, drop it (working on this one), potty, pooh, come (working on this one), time to go to sleep (in crate), good boy, are you hungry (working on this one), and I love you." Biscuit is extremely intelligent, is a quick study, and is very eager to learn. He is somewhat stubborn and quickly realized if he does not look at you then he does not have to listen (so he thinks) to commands, especially those he dislikes (stop, no, go in your crate).  Biscuit is crate trained and is working diligently on his potty training.

Biscuit will require an extra special, devoted family that is already familiar with training and living with a deaf dog, or someone that is committed to learning sign and understanding what he needs. Biscuit will do best in the company of at least one other pup. He will bring much love, joy, and years of happiness to the right family that is ready to adopt this precious baby and give him all the love and special attention he needs.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200 and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
