Jasper, through no fault of his own, ended up in a local high kill shelter and ran out of time.  He is a stunning gray/blue and white Staffordshire Pitbull Terrier who is about 4 years of age and is approximately 80 lbs.  He is very much a lover and a very active pup.....he absolutely loves to swim! 

Jasper is a very sweet and loving dog that will make someone a wonderful pet and companion.  Jasper likes to bury every chew toy he has in the backyard if given a chance and then weeks later he'll carry them back into the house.  He is a very happy high energy pup that needs a walk, run, or swim at least once every day.  You can take food right out of his mouth, he's very gentle, sweet, and ready for a home deserving of a pup that will dedicate his life to that family.  Jasper has been through obedience training and recently completed a stint with the Paws of Hope Prison Program!

Being a Pit Bull Terrier he has a strong pleasure to please. They are a good-natured, amusing, extremely loyal and affectionate family pet that is good with children and adults.  Almost always obedient, they are an extremely courageous and intelligent dog that is very full of vitality. The Pit Bull Terrier can be willful with meek owners and needs a firm hand.
