I’d like to welcome Bethany as the newest member of the DFWPP pack.  Bethany had a rough start to life.  She was one of over 100 dogs seized from a property where the living conditions were awful.  She’s estimated to be about 2 years old and is a German shepherd mix who weighs approximately 38 pounds.  She was used to living outdoors with very little human interaction, so it took a few days for her to trust me.  Almost two weeks into fostering and this girl has shown so much growth.  She’s finding her confidence and learning what it’s like to be loved.  She’s housetrained, crate trained (although she doesn’t need it, she’s perfect when left alone, and nothing beats the greeting she gives when I get home), learning to walk on a leash and doing really well, good with cats (in that she ignores them), and good with dogs.  She was hesitant around her foster sister and DFWPP alumni, Maggie, at first, but now they play all day and get along great.

If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please click here (or copy and paste https://dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption into your browser) to view our adoption info and where you will find the link to fill out our online Pre-Adoption Application.  Any questions can be directed to us at info@dfwpuppatrol.com.  All of our adoptable pups have a minimum requested adoption fee of $250 + tax  (pups 6 months and older) and $350  + tax (pups under 6 months old), regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 8 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 3 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
