Bolt is one of a litter of 5 boys born on June 1 ^st  of this year.  He is all boy but has a sensitive side too and loves for you to hold him and he will snuggle up with you as long as you will let him.  Bolt does like to play with toys, especially ones that squeak or that he can chew on and he will keep himself entertained for a good while.  When other dogs are around though he is going to be right in the middle of them, he loves to run and chase and play and wrestle – did I mention he is all boy!  Bolt’s looks are changing and it is going to be interesting to see how he ends up.  His mom is a 12 lb. Terrier with strawberry blonde/cream fur and a gentle, sweetness that she passed on to each of her boys.  The dad is anybody’s guess – right now Bolt’s fur is black and at birth he had a white streak in the middle of his nose that looked like a lightning bolt, thus the name Bolt.  Now his black fur is getting some grey at the roots – and since we know he is just a baby – he must be changing colors on us.  His fur is extremely soft and has some curl and wave to it like a poodle or a llasa apso possibly.  Again, strictly guesswork here, but it will be fun seeing him grow up and seeing how he changes.  He has big black eyes and this sad look but he is a happy pup!  Bolt is kennel trained, trained to use a piddle pad and is doing well with his house training – he knows the word outside and is used to going out on the grass.  He will need his new family to put the finishing touches on his house training as he learns his new routine but he is a smart little guy and will do so quickly.  Bolt is a rare dog who doesn’t even mind the rain – he just loves to go outside and run and play and be a dog. The family who adopts this little guy will be in for a treat.  Older considerate children only please.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $250, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 8 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
