After being surrendered to the shelter for "not being good with other pets", Junior found himself scared, alone, and on the kill list one Tuesday morning. Thankfully a Pup Patrol volunteer stepped forward to save this sweet boy, and wouldn't you know he gets along famously with all her other pups! He does get a little nervous with bigger dogs until he gets to know them, but he loves to cuddle and play with other pups! (He has not been introduced to kitties to our knowledge.) Junior is estimated to be about 4 years old and currently weighs 6 lbs, although he is a bit underweight. We know he has Chihuahua in him, but those loooooong legs and huge, erect ears tell us there's some other stuff mixed in too. He is pretty good with his potty training but he does like to mark sometimes (he recently was neutered so that should subside in time.) He is crate trained, but left out of his crate he is a good boy too.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $225, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
