Bender was found in a rural Texas town covered in mud with a huge bloody gash in his head, and a chain & padlock around his neck that weighed almost 50 lbs. Rescued by a good Samaritan who couldn't turn a blind eye, you can imagine how he felt to be freed of that weight; himself weighing only 37 lbs! In spite of his rough beginning, Bender is the sweetest most lovable pup you could meet!! He LOVES other dogs, loves to play, loves toys, treats, food... He is great in his crate, and is doing really good with potty training. He is still a puppy so he likes to chew, but he is learning to only chew on his antler and chewy sticks. He gets scared of loud noises, but is learning that he has nothing to be scared of anymore. Hey, we forgot to mention he is even good with kitties! He is a beautiful chocolate color, and we believe he was born around November 2015. He currently weighs around 40 lbs, but he's still growing. You just gotta meet this boy!

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $225, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
